The Merchantlify Delivery App is strictly for company-assigned riders/drivers.

Riders/drivers use their company-provided credentials to:

• Deliver food and e-commerce packages
• Update delivery statuses
• Receive new order alerts, even when the app is minimized or running in the background
• Allow the company to track delivery progress in real time

This app is not intended for public use.

2. Information We Collect

a. Personal Information

We collect the following information from riders/drivers:

• Employee/Driver ID
• Login credentials
• Contact information provided by the company

b. Location Information (Foreground & Background)

We collect and process real-time GPS location to:

• Assign nearby delivery tasks

• Ensure route accuracy and timely delivery
• Monitor safety
• Ensure the rider/driver does not miss new orders
• Provide real-time updates to dispatch and management

Background Location Disclosure (Required by Google Play):

The app may collect location data even when it is closed or not actively being used, because:

• Riders/drivers must receive new delivery orders instantly
• The company requires continuous delivery tracking
• Background location is essential for accurate logistics
• It prevents missing important order alerts

Location tracking only functions when the rider/driver is logged in and marked as active/on duty.

c. Background Activity

The Merchantlify Delivery App may run or launch in the background to:

• Deliver new order notifications
• Maintain real-time delivery tracking
• Update status and route progress
• Keep the rider/driver connected to the dispatch system

This ensures accurate delivery operations and prevents missed orders.

d. Device Information & Logs

• Device model
• Operating system version
• App version
• Crash logs
• Diagnostic data
• Push notification token

e. Delivery Activity Data

• Orders assigned, accepted, or rejected
• Delivery timestamps and route information
• Proof of delivery (photos, signatures, notes)
• Trip start and end details
